After breakfast, your will be met at your hotel and transferred to Hangzhou, firstly taking a cruise on the [West lake]. The lake covers an area of 5.6 square kilometers. Its name, the West Lake, originated during the Tang Dynasty from its lying to the west of Qiantang County. The lake is also named after Xi Shi, a famous ancient beauty, because of the apt comparison made between the two by the poet Su Dongpo. And visit [Six Harmony Pagoda] which stands south of the lake in an amazing situation which affords great views over the nearby Qiantang River. And then the [Tiger Spring] which has the legend goes that two tights ran there and made a hole where a spring gushed out. The Longjing Tea and the Tiger-running Spring water are always reputed as the "Two Wonders of the West Lake". Transfer to the hotel after the visits.
After breakfast, we go to visit the [Linyin Monastery], [Feilai Peak] which are the famous sites near the West Lake. There comes firstly the Lingyin Monastery, a famous ancient temple in China, in front of which there are Feilai Peak, Cold Spring, Longhong Cave and precious rock cave arts and queer and varied natural caves and gullies.
After lunch let’s visit the [Chinese Tea Museum], which is a state-level specialized museum that the National Travel Administration, Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou City construct together.
Then transfer back to Shanghai. The two-day Hangzhou tour ends when back to your hotel.
