USAI traveled to China for the first time this past January. The trip was well-planned and fun from start to finish. Not only did Alex Guan do a fantastic job working with our travel dates and funds to fit a lot into our itinerary, he's also a great individual to talk to and travel with. If I had any questions or concerns, I felt extremely comfortable bringing them to Alex. The same was true of the the guides he had for us in each city. They were all very knowledgable and informative. I definitely learned a lot from this trip with China Expedition Tours. However, I also feel like Alex provided us several opportunities (scheduled and unscheduled) to break the "tourist" barrier and experience the Chinese culture. One of my favorite parts of the trip was taking a bike ride in Yangshuo with our guide, David. He arranged for us to stop by a local woman's house. She gave us a tour and shared fresh fruit and peanuts with us from her garden. With China Expedition Tours, you're guaranteed an unforgettable and highly enjoyable trip! I will be contacting Alex Guan the next time I visit China!

The reason we paid extra money to tour as a small family was the expectation that each guide would to be able to be flexible to meet our individual needs and interests. United StatesWe finally have some free time on our last night in China to thank you for so much. It is with a mixture of joy and sadness that we come to the end of our journey to China. We have become more than just business partners putting together an itinerary for a trip; we've become friends.
Our first thank you is for the wonderful dinner we had at your place last week. It was one of the highlights of a trip that had so many. We enjoyed the food, meeting Heather, taking a walk around your neighborhood, and having the opportunity to "catch up" on things.
We also want to thank you for the hard work you put in making the arrangements for us, especially the accommodations for Miriam--the motorized chair (which was a godsend), the walk-in showers in each hotel, easy access to the many sites we saw, including the Great Wall.
All of the guides--David, Richard, Alex and David, and Stacy--were all great. They were all excellent and in a few days we became very comfortable with each one. It was sad to part ways with them. Alex and David said they want to visit us in Florida.
Also, all of the drivers were outstanding, though we'll never get used to how the cars and motorcycle weave in and out of traffic.
Finally: this is not good bye. On occasion we will write to you, not on business, but on a personal note.
Be well, enjoy living in such a wonderful country. Our fondest wish is for our governments and people to learn to live together in peace and friendship.

MalaysiaI have a breathtaking tour experience the amazing Guilin with my son, I’ve been dreaming to travel around such lovely place in all my life, together with my son, we had unforgettable memory of spending every moment in Guilin. Thanks so much for China Expedition Tour work team, we had fabulous time. And our tour guide is also awesome and knowledgeable.On top of Yao Mountain we overlooked the whole Guilin city, green hills and clear water around, Guilin has its unique sight in spring, we felt so pleased when getting so closed nature. Daxu is the old town with local folk style, it reminded me a lot of the past time, that’s funny, and my son said he’d love to travel through time and experience a special moment with local people. LOL.I would like to recommend my friend in Malaysia to travel around China especially Guilin with help of China Expedition Tour. They would plan the best trip for you.

the U.SAlex Guan did an awesome job of putting together a fun itinerary for me and my friends, and at a great price at that. While I was there I felt like I had an authentic Chinese experience, which was a blast! My favorite city was Guilin, which is Alex's hometown. It was simply breathtaking! I would definitely use Alex again, and would recommend him to anyone else thinking about doing a tour of China!
