We believe hiking is a way of connecting people more authentically with the world and may be the most eco-friendly and exciting way to travel.     The quality of the trips was generally good. The best experience was hiking on the Great Wall in Beijing. All guides were professional, service oriented and well trained. All guides had a fairly good command of English, some better, some less. The normal communication went well. We were very much pleased with Alex, our guide in Shanghai, who gave us very useful and to the point information. We very much appreciated his great sense of humor. All cars were clean and the drivers were always punctual and did their best to bring us safely to the visit sites. The whole trip was extremely well organized. Everything went smoothly without incidents and we are fully satisfied with the organization provided by CET. Best regards,

    Our trip was great, really enjoyed it. Also, both Grace and Li Li (I can't remember her name sorry) were great hosts. The highlight was definitely the Li river trip. Also really enjoyed the visit to the little country village.We took some nice pictures and shared one with you.

    Dear Cici,
    I cannot thank you enough for all of your coordination for our trip in Guilin. Mandy and I thoroughly enjoyed Alex Guan, tour guide, and Mr. Jong (the driver). Alex also has a good command of the English language and a good sense of humor. Alex was very attentive, punctual and could easily resolve whatever issue we brought up. I would highly recommend Alex for any tour. He wondered why he wasn’t our guide on Monday at the orphanage and I told him that for some reason a Linn from BLAS got involved for that arrangement and I thought she was with the government in order to get us into the orphanage. Alex told us to call him if there were any problems.

    Hi Monica,

    We had a great trip (Xian, Guilin, Tibet, Yangtze River Cruise).  What a memorable time for me and my two sons.  We are in Beijing for the next 2 weeks with my wife and will be doing some site seeing around the city so I have many more photos to take. 

    Thank you so much for assitance with the planning of the trip.  Everything went smoothly and we had a great time!

    I recently just discovered the Trip Advisor App for my iPhone.  It has been really useful so I will post something on the web site for China Expedition Tours.

    Thank you very much for such a nice trip. Please see our comments below: The distribution of the time was fairly done, Meals were excellent in general. All guides were knowledgeable of the place and able to answer our questions. The best one was Sarah in Beijing and Ruth in Xian. All guides versed in English. All drivers were fairly good. The hotels were very nice and excellent breakfast.
