This Site is owned by China Expedition Tours, a division and sub-brand name of Guilin Comfort International Travel Service Co., Ltd. Accessing and using the Site or downloading materials from the Site indicates that you have read and understood all of the Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in China. This site and its tour services are available to people who lawfully enter into this site. The minimum age of booking a service from this site is 18 years old.
Non-commercial Use & Copyrights
You may only use this website for your own personal purpose. You are not allowed to access, use or copy any information or material on the website for any commercial purpose or for any unlawful purposes. China Expedition Tours reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its trips, and to use any such photographic or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.

Health Requirements
There are risks while traveling. Travelers should be familiar with the applicable health requirements to the areas they intend to visit. It is your solely responsibility to check the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Altitude sickness may develop in travelers who ascend rapidly to altitudes greater than 2500 m. When you travel to Tibet or parts of Sichuan and Yunnan Province of China，make sure your blood pressure and heart condition is normal. A doctor's certificate is required if you will go to Tibet and other highland areas.
Complaints and Claims
If you have a complaint about the service China Expedition Tours provided, please immediately notify the local guide and contact your travel consultant. We will notify the local supplier of such complaints to avoid the possible similar problems happening again during your trip.
If you are still not satisfied and wish to claim for compensation, you must send the letter of claim by email, fax or regular mail within 15 days from the end of your tour to allow your complaint to be investigated properly. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. China Expedition Tours will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
Insurance
When you travel in China with us, you are offered a complementary travel insurance program by China Expedition Tours which is known as Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, a policy regulated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. This insurance covers any unexpected accidents occurring during the tour activities arranged by a travel agency with maximum coverage of RMB 200,000/person. However, it does not cover any other physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themselves rather than accidents caused by tour activity while in China. Therefore, we strongly recommend you purchase necessary travel insurance for overseas trip in your home country before departure in addition to what we can offer here.
Our Responsibility & Liability
The responsibility of China Expedition Tours' agents, parent company and affiliated companies is strictly limited. As a tour operator, we organize, promote, and sell tour programs consisting a good range of services, including guide service, ground transportation, air transportation, water transportation, excursions and accommodations that we purchase or reserve from various suppliers. The suppliers providing services for our tour programs are independent contractors and they are not agents or employees of ours.
To the extent that we are involved in booking air and/or cruise transportation for you, we act as your agent and not as an agent for the airline and/or cruise companies. However, we promise that we are responsible for the willful or negligent acts of our partner travel agents for the land services.
China Expedition Tours will take all benefits and all losses of any fluctuations, lower or higher in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges after we have received the full payment from you. And we reserve the right to correct promotional or pricing errors or to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges before we receive your reservation deposit.
China Expedition Tours reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary whenever we deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the other tour participants, or to cancel a tour at any time. For the above reason, we will refund any unused fund to tour participants.
China Expedition Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure.
Disclaimer
China Expedition Tours shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property in connection with climatic conditions, fire hazard, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond our control. Neither China Expedition Tours nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
China Expedition Tours shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by China Expedition Tours.
China Expedition Tours is not responsible for a client's failure to comply with customs regulations. China Expedition Tours is not responsible for the theft or loss of any customer's valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
Variation of Terms and Conditions
These terms and Conditions may vary from time to time. China Expedition Tours reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice. If they are revised, we will post the revised version on this site. Please re-read these terms and conditions even if you have previously used this site. If you purchased any China Tour services, the terms and conditions of China Hotel and China Flight together shall constitute the entire understanding between you and China Expedition Tours relating to your China Tour.
