Hi Alex, The tour that you arranged for us on Oct 11, 2012 was excellent. We enjoyed it very much. Upon arrival at Guilin airport on Oct 10th, you met us and from then on our pleasures continued. Guilin is a very lovely city in my mind but we don't arrange more time there. Soon we went to Kunming and continued our tour with another exellent guide. And the last tour in Beijing, the Forbidden City was very informative. The environment in Beijing restaurants was outstanding, have never seen such beautiful restaurants, so stylishly decorated before! Hotels were very good for the most part as well as their breakfasts. China Expedition Tours was an excellent choice for us, very flexible tours (which helps when travelling with a baby), also very informative and able to answer questions very quickly. The quality of the trips was generally good. The best experience was hiking on the Great Wall in Beijing. All guides were professional, service oriented and well trained. All guides had a fairly good command of English, some better, some less. The normal communication went well. We were very much pleased with Alex, our guide in Shanghai, who gave us very useful and to the point information. We very much appreciated his great sense of humor. All cars were clean and the drivers were always punctual and did their best to bring us safely to the visit sites. The whole trip was extremely well organized. Everything went smoothly without incidents and we are fully satisfied with the organization provided by CET. Best regards,

I traveled to China with a college group in January as part of a Winter Term course at my school. I would not know where to begin planning a trip to a country as diverse as China, but our itinerary put together by Alex Guan was superb! We went to six major cities and we had a genuine cultural experience. We got to see everything from the Great Wall in Beijing to the Li River in Guilin and everything in between!
A particular highlight of the trip was that China Expedition Tours took our group to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall - this section of the Great Wall is very well preserved and is much less crowded with tourists. Most other tour groups would have taken us to another section of the Wall which would have been more crowded. The little things like this detail of our trip made our experience with China Expedition Tours exceptionally good.
Alex stayed with our group throughout our trip as a national guide. Everywhere we went we got an exciting history of attractions we visited and we had local guides with impeccable knowledge of their cities. Alex and our local guides did an amazing job of keeping our group on schedule so we got the most out of our trip and made every location a unique experience. Everyone at China Expedition Tours cared deeply about our enjoyment of the trip and went above and beyond what we would have expected from any tour group.
More than just giving us an incredible trip, we made lasting friendships with the people at China Expedition Tours that I know I will be back to visit in the future. I would not trust anyone else in China with planning a future trip!

Sorry for so long salience from my side. Had a lot of work plus business trips ….

Firstly I want to thank you for perfectly organizing things inside our trip in China. Everything was as agreed except one. If you ask my opinion regarding guides the weakest was in Lhasa and strongest were in Shangri-La and Beijing. If you need details – please ask.

In my opinion in all areas of life all people can improve. And there is no end to this process. That way I’m writing to you theses small remarks. But if I have to evaluate the services I have received from your company I can state 10 out of 10!

First of all a Big thankyou-your guides Rockie and Grace were superb-nothing was too much for them and they were very professional and enthusiastic making my experience in China a trip of a lifetime!

I enjoyed trip immensely ,learnt a lot,took 1000 photos and 2 hrs of video-Am inviting whole family around for a china night to show off photos and video!

Dear Sue, Sorry that I didn't reply you immediately. Below is my evaluation of the tour. We were happy with the service of the tour guide, they varied in abilities, but they all tried very hard to please us. The best guide was Summer in Xi'an. She was very professional, her English was excellent and her knowledge of Xi'an and the archaeological details were impressive. We were also impressed with the guide in Beijing for his knowledge of history. Drivers in general were well educated persons with good knowledge of traffic and safe driving. Cars were clean and showed good mechanical conditions. The hotel of the three cities were all comfortable and humanized. In Beijing, the Pecking Duck left me great impression, and the Tian'anmen Square were so crowed. Many people of China came to visit this square. Xian was a ancient capital. The noodle there are delicious, and I still miss the food there. Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Museum were worthy of going. The traffic of Shanghai was relatively better than that of Beijing, I considered. The laat stop to Guilin was also fantastic, and we plan to visit other cities of China in the future. This time, we had a very enjoyable experience with China Expedition Tours, my husband and I would definitely use CET again for our next trip in China. Sincerely, Paul &Kerry Williams
