Day 1: Shanghai

Upon you arrival, our guide (CET representative) will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: Shanghai

You can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and we go to visit the [Yuyuan Garden], the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai, where you also can find more delicate handicrafts and tasty Chinese snacks. Also include a visit to the [Jade Buddha Temple]. The most famous thing of Jade Buddha Temple is not the architectural idea which was conveyed in Song Dynasty, the valuable essence lies in the Buddha figures. The seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels, is said to weigh 1,000 kg. A smaller, reclining Buddha lies on a redwood bed. Lunch will be arranged at a characteristic Shanghai restaurant. After lunch our guide takes you to the [Outer Bund], which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, facing Pudong, in the eastern part of Huangpu District. At there you can take a grand view of Shanghai and you may marvel at how modern this metropolis is while still containing its old traditions. We will enjoy a walk on the [Nanjing Road], the most prosperous commercial street. You can find lots of world famous brands setting along the street and you will enjoy a good shopping time.

Day 3: Shanghai-Huangshan

This morning we enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and then we go to visit the [Shanghai Museum] . This afternoon we take a flight to Huanghshan. Upon arrival, we will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 4: Huangshan

Early this morning we will head for Huangshan Mountain to [take cable to climb the Huangshan Mountain]. We can enjoy the spectacular view along the way to the top. Mt. Huangshan is distinguished by the four wonders, namely, odd-shaped pines, grotesque rock formation, seas of clouds and crystal-clear hot springs. It is said that you won't want to visit any other mountains after seeing Wu Yue but you won't wish to see even Wu Yue after returning from Mt. Huangshan. This saying may give you some idea of the beauty and uniqueness of Mt. Huangshan. We will enjoy a day long climbing and sightseeing trip.

Day 5: Huangshan Mountain-Shanghai

This morning we can have a leisurely wander in the mountain, and then we take cable downwards. Later in the evening, we will take a flight back to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 6: Shanghai-Suzhou

Today we will go to Suzhou city, visit the [Humble Administrator's Garden]. It is the largest garden in Suzhou and is generally considered to be the finest garden in all of southern China, as well as one of the four most famous classic gardens in China. Humble Administrator's Garden is a treasure house containing arts of architecture, calligraphy, carving, painting, and bonsai. Then we drive to [Zhouzhuang], one of the most famous water townships in China, only 30 kilometers (18 miles) southeast of Suzhou. It is noted for its profound cultural background, surrounded by water, the town features classical bridges, a waterway transport system and the traditional architecture of a bygone era. It abounds with rivers and lakes. We will enjoy a leisurely stroll and you can see that all the houses in the Zhouzhuang, built with sidewalks along canals have formed a web of water lanes. Stone bridges and overhanging towers span the waterways to provide free passage for the local people. Afterwards, we will drive back to Suzhou.

Day 7: Suzhou-Hangzhou

After enjoy a leisurely breakfast, walking around the downtown area to for pleasure and having a traditional Chinese lunch are our recommendation. Then we go to Hangzhou. Hangzhou is known for its natural beauty of West Lake worldwide. "Above is paradise, below is Suzhou and Hangzhou" expresses people's indeed praise to Hangzhou. We will arrive there in the afternoon and you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 8: Hangzhou

Today we will have a tour to the [West Lake]. It is undoubtedly the most renowned feature of Hangzhou, noted for the scenic beauty that associated with many scholars, national heroes and revolutionary martyrs. It  plays an important role in many aspects of Chinese culture. Sitting in a boat wandering on the river, enjoy the beautiful scenery. Solitary Hill, the Mausoleum of General Yue Fei, the Six Harmonies Pagoda and the Ling Yin Temple are probably the most frequently visited attractions in this scenic area. In afternoon we will pay a visit to [Hefang Old Street], a well-designed old pedestrian street which is the epitome of old Hangzhou. Shops selling art crafts, souvenirs, silk, teahouses, and restaurants line on both sides of the street. The original street has been ruined and it recently takes on a completely new look after larger-scale of restoration. Shops selling art crafts, souvenirs, silk, teahouses, and restaurants line on both sides of the street. Many famous century-old shops including Hu Qing Yu Tang, Wang Xingji Fans can be found along the street. The Street is otherwise known as the Snack Street for the diverse food it serves. You can choose to try some of the local flavors.

Day 9: Hangzhou-Thousand Islets Lake-Hangzhou

This morning we will drive to the [Thousand Islets Lake] which is about 160 kilometers (about 99.5miles) west of Hangzhou. Thousand Islets Lake is currently the largest man-made lake in China. It got its name from the 1078 islets in the lake. The lake is famous for its crystal-clean water and picturesque scenery as exquisite as the West Lake in Hangzhou. Here, you can also be able to see many wild animals like swans, mandarin ducks and bitterns sometimes. The lake covers an area of 573 square kilometers (about 141,591acres). In addition to its tranquil natural scenery, Thousand Islets Lake also boasts a large number of historical sites. Two ancient towns, both dating back to more than 1,800 years ago, were discovered under the lake in 2002. After preliminary investigation, experts believe they might be the biggest ancient building complex found in China. The two towns were submerged 40 years ago to make way for a reservoir. Historical records show that the town was filled with traditional Chinese architectures with bricks, stones and titles. You can enjoy a wonderful afternoon at Thousand Islets Lake. Later the day we will drive back to Hangzhou.

Day 10: Hangzhou-Guilin

This morning is free at leisure. You can be make a plan of the tour to Guilin and check your camera whether it is available to take numbers of photos for Guilin is considered to be the pearl of China's thriving tourist industry on account of the fabulous natural beauty and historic treasures. Upon arrival, you are transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city. This evening, we suggest that you take a cruise in the city's central area on a water system, which will impress you another feeling of this charming city.

Day 11: Guilin-Longsheng

Today we will go to Longji, a minority area with magnificent terraced rice paddies. Located in Ping'an Village in Heping Township, 23 kilometers(about 14 miles) from Longsheng County, the [Longji Terraced Rice Paddies] covers an area of 66 square kilometers(about 16,308acres), where you may have a chance to take some wonderful pictures of minority people wearing exquisite costumes. The rice terraces are built into the hillsides which look like great chains or ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the hill. This ingenious construction makes best use of the limited arable land and water resources in the mountainous area. Before the Terraced Rice Paddies, we will stop to visit [Huangluo Red Yao minority village], where women all keep their hair to a length of more than one meter. You will be marvel at their characteristic red costumes and beauty.

Day 12: Longsheng-Guilin

The morning time is free for you to explore this lovely and mysterious Zhuang village yourself. After lunch we leave the village and drive to the local market, where you will have the chance to experience the daily life of people and have interesting discovery. Then we drive to Guilin city (about 2 hour drive).

Day 13: Guilin-Yangshuo

This morning we will embark the boat for the [Li River cruise]. Cruising downstream with a pleasant breeze greeting, you can sit on cushion comfortably or enjoy the open-air viewing platform. The 84-kilometer-long section of Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is like a green silk belt, coiling around million overlapping peaks. Bring lots of films or be sure the memory card in your digital camera is with a large capacity to capture the dramatic landscapes that Chinese artists have been painting for centuries. Lunch will be served onboard. Disembark at Yangshuo Town and walk to the West Street. The most amazing section of Yangshuo is this street, about 1000 meters(about 0.6 mile) long, popularly known as "Foreigner's Street". which has received countless foreigners from all over the world. Today, there are over 300 cafes, restaurants, hotels art crafts and tourist stores, foreign language clubs, internet centers and Kungfu schools.

This afternoon you are free at leisure. You can enjoy a coffee time in the West Street, or walk around to feel the ancient breath of the small Yangshuo town.

Day 14: Yangshuo-Guilin

After breakfast, we will spend a few hour driving back to Guilin city; the rest of the day in Guilin is to discover its shinning scenic spots that make the city unique and especially beautiful. The [Elephant Trunk Hill] is the symbol of Guilin, standing in the Li River and looks like an elephant drinking water from the river. Next we will go to another destination. Located at the northwest of Guilin City, 5 kilometers(about 3 miles) away from the center of the city, [Reed Flute Cave] is a famous scenic spot, mainly offering a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites, stone columns, curtains and flowers in fantastic shapes and colors while appreciating landscape and rural scenery. After the visit, we will continue to the nearby [South China Sea Pearl Museum], where we can learn some knowledge of pearls and have the chance to purchase real sea pearl at competitive prices.

Day 15: Guilin-Hong Kong

Today is free at leisure and you can wander around Guilin by yourself. In the afternoon, you are transferred to the airport to take a flight to Hong Kong or for departure.
