My daughters and I went to Shanghai to attend an Expo,thus we had limited time for sightseeing. My daughters wanted to see the mountains of Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) and the ancient village of Hongcun. Our only available days were April 30 to May 2, which unfortunately is a long holiday in China thus a lot of Chinese were expected to visit these very popular tourist sites. China Expedition Tours rearranged our schedule to make sure that we will not be wasting our limited time on lining up. They also assigned to us an energetic and very knowledgeable tour guide who also spoke English very well. China Expedition Tours’ attention to details made sure that we were able to appreciate the culture and craftsmanship of the Chinese people (which dates back to centuries ago) and to enjoy the mystical Yellow Mountains.

Dear , We happily got the flexible individual tour we wanted. I can't say enough good things about our experience with China Expedition tour company,From the initial selection of Guilin and Yangshuo as our destination to the service we received from arrival in Guilin to our departure, our tour organizer Channel from China Expedition tour company exceeded our already high expectations. The hotel was in an excellent location, Our guide was a wealth of information, everything from history to culture to how silk is made to where the five star hotels were so that we could use Western style toilets. China Expedition tour company treated us like VIP guests! I highly recommend them.

Our group of 4, last 21 days was a life time experience of exploring the culture, history, differences cuisines of many ethnic of North, Southeast, South, breathing scenery is a given, architecture as old as 900+ years & still live in and passing generations to generations…and, last through all the battles during the 3 kingdoms, and many many surprises that take time to digest .

That being said, regardless how long the planning (1 year 1/2) in addition to hundreds of YouTube - without Chanel Tang patients during the planning process & her team to make sure everything is OK from woke up with me at 5:00 am climbing the mountain as raining & thick foggy to take us to hotel at midnight, make sure we are safe. - we will not experience it. A huge thanks to China Expedition Tour & big kudo to her team. I am highly suggest to take the private tour. It is not cheap, or too expensive - very much a self expeditions with a local expert who knows where, when for photo, change to do list on-the-fly depending on weather, etc.…last but not least was treated like VIP.
