Getting There

By Air
There is no airport in Pingyao. You can fly to the Taiyuan Airport and transfer long distance bus to get Pingyao.

By Train
Pingyao Train Station locates in the Chengguan Town, 108km from Taiyuan Train Station. Built in 1933, this station is a third-class station. There are two trains departing from Beijing to Pingyao, K603 and 1163. It takes over 12 hours to reach Pingyao. 

By Long Distant Bus
Pingyao Bus Station is near the station. More than 100 coaches depart from Pingyao to other cities in Shanxi, such as Taiyuan, Yuci, Jiexiu, Changzhi, Wenshui, etc. 

Getting Around
 
By Public Bus
There is only 1 bus route in Pingyao, No.1 with 13 buses. It starts at Nanzhengkou, via train station, Shuncheng Road, Shuguang Road, Chengnan Community, Shijiu Street and Pingyao No.1 Middle School. The departure time in spring, summer and winter is from 6:40 to 18:35. In winter, the departure time starts from 7:00 to 18:00.

By Taxi

By Battery Car
