Climate and Weather

Local Festivals and Folk Custom
The grand sacrificial ceremony of the Chinese Cultural & Tourist Festival is held from the 2nd day through the 5th day of the 3rd month on lunar calendar in the Memorial Temple to the Yellow Emperor in Mt. Juci, the hometown of the emperor, in Xinzheng.
The China Zhenzhou International Shaolin Martial Art Festival is held between September 10th and 15th in Zhengzhou. While there are also some other activities, such as performances of Shaolin martial arts, kongfu contest, trade talks, and performances displaying the culture on the Central Plain as well as the traditional Chinese culture and arts and exchanges between martial arts from around the world.
