    I traveled to China with a college group in January as part of a Winter Term course at my school. I would not know where to begin planning a trip to a country as diverse as China, but our itinerary put together by Alex Guan was superb! We went to six major cities and we had a genuine cultural experience. We got to see everything from the Great Wall in Beijing to the Li River in Guilin and everything in between!
    A particular highlight of the trip was that China Expedition Tours took our group to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall - this section of the Great Wall is very well preserved and is much less crowded with tourists. Most other tour groups would have taken us to another section of the Wall which would have been more crowded. The little things like this detail of our trip made our experience with China Expedition Tours exceptionally good.
    Alex stayed with our group throughout our trip as a national guide. Everywhere we went we got an exciting history of attractions we visited and we had local guides with impeccable knowledge of their cities. Alex and our local guides did an amazing job of keeping our group on schedule so we got the most out of our trip and made every location a unique experience. Everyone at China Expedition Tours cared deeply about our enjoyment of the trip and went above and beyond what we would have expected from any tour group.
    More than just giving us an incredible trip, we made lasting friendships with the people at China Expedition Tours that I know I will be back to visit in the future. I would not trust anyone else in China with planning a future trip!

    Alex, Our tour was wonderful! I felt like we visited the top sights in China and we did it thoroughly. The hotels were beautiful and every meal offered a huge selection and exceptional service.     Hello CET, without a doubt Great Wall views & the Li River were the most memorable attractions. We tried numerous of the restaurants & markets recommended in our confirmation letter and without exception they were all outstanding.      We had a really good day, and enjoyed the tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. For me, the best part of the day was actually when we took a open sided car and drove around the countryside around Yangshou. It might be worth incorporating this into the tour? My only negative feedback was the food on the boat wasn’t great, although I know that your company don’t manage the boat directly.  I don’t know if there are any boats that don’t have food, as it might be worth not eating, and letting people eat in the town when they arrive?

    Anyway, in general the day was great. We all really enjoyed it.

    Hi,Monica,

    The trip was awesome!Every guide was an excellent ambassador for their city every place except for Guangzhou . Our guide, Louis, didn't take us to the tower there. I thought it was included with our tour...but I didn't question him. Also the hotel was not in a fun location and a bit unsettling.

    So overall, we had a great time with Randy, Rock, Ruby, Tiger and Ann.  While in Guilin, Tiger thought we were not having fun because of the rain; actually that made it more fun and gives us a fun story to share with friends, but I think that is why we didn't meet you.
