Jinfo Mountain Area
Splendid mountains, chirping streams, steaming forests, clear springs, mysterious caves and bizarre rocks together with the rarely seen cultural sites form the wonderful sceneries around this magnificent Jinfo Mountain, providing a good resort for sightsee of both natural and human landscapes.
The 260-square-kilometer scenic area is within Nanchuan City, where Jinfo Mountain, also known as Jiudi Mountain, rises between 800 to 1,000 meters in elevation. It is an ideal place to view the landscape, venture into the unknown, seek novelty, escape from the summer heat, spend holidays, and get familiar with the ecosystem.
The main peak, Qingliang Summit, reaching as high as 2,251 meters, is one of the four mountains famous scenery in Sichuan Province along with Emei, Qingcheng and Jinyun mountains. Among this gorgeous mountain, hide many marvelous scenes, like Fengchui Ridge, Lion’s Mouth, Jade City, the Fenghuang Temple and the Ancient Buddha's Cave.
