Longgang Botanical Garden
Located at the side of Yueniuao Reservoir, the south of Longgang District, Longgang Botanical Garden occupies a total area of 3,202mu. The botanical garden has mountains around and a lake in the middle, in which there are two islands. There are almost 1,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants. Introduced from home and aboard, these plants are of rare species and high economic values. The garden has 3,500 to 4,000 kinds of plants altogether. The garden was listed as one of the Preferential Aid Programs of Diversities of Living Beings by GEF of UNESCO. The garden has golf courses, Green Club, wooden cabins and the Longhu Fishing Club, which can not only satisfy the needs of different customer groups, but also provide a place for social activities.
