Zhongshan Park
Built in 1925, Zhongshan Park is the park in Shenzhen that has experienced the longest history. Covering about 500,000 m2, Zhongshan Park is designed with 14 scenic spots, both natural and artificial, which is a combination of the historic and modern flavors. Name after the Dr. Sun Zhongshan (Sun Yat-sen), the Father of the Republic of China who advocates The Whole World as One Community, Zhongshan Park has the largest stone statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Around the splendid Status of Sun Yat-sen, there is a status group, among which status of the Chinese famous celebrities can be found.
Around the status group, you can enjoy a feast of eyes among the marvelous landscapes. The reflections of green lawns, blooming flowers and towering old trees on the peaceful lakes make here a tour paradise where you can spend your holidays with your families flying kites, boating on the lake, having picnic on the lawns or just taking a cozy walk.
