Xili Lake Resort
The Xili Lake scenic spot is as adorable and beautiful as a paint, inside which the peaceful lake is reflecting the green mountain and the birds are chirping over the flowers. The architectures along the Xili Lake resort are of antique flavors, elegant and gorgeous, among which the one-kilometer-long corridor surrounding the lake has been enjoying the reputation of the longest corridor in China.
In addition to the terrific scenery of ponds, rockery, pagodas, red walls, pavilions, corridors, bridges and towers, various entertainments are available, such as fishing, kite-flying, bumper cars, shooting, horsing, bowling, golf, diving, swimming, Kara Ok, Sauna and balls, all of which will make you tour colorful and amazing.
The resort, erected in the fall of 1979, was the first to be built following the reform and opening up of China to foreign visitors and was soon to be recognized as Shenzhen's prime scenic spot. The fresh air coupled with its elegant ambience arouses people's desires to take holidays here. The resort also offers the opportunity to cultivate their minds. In 1986, Xili Lake Resort was the chosen venue for the Eighth Asian Table Tennis Championships. Since the 1980s, many of the top Chinese leaders and other celebrities have visited the resort and have been warmly entertained there.
Xili Lake Resort is adjacent to the Safari Park Shenzhen and Shenzhen University City, so it is convenient should you wish to get close to the wild life or enjoy the studious atmosphere of modern university life. In the resort itself you will have no worries about a lack of entertainment programs. Apart from the well-equipped facilities that you would expect to find in a holiday resort, Xili Lake Resort provides visitors with an abundance of activities such as fishing, canoeing, firework displays, swimming, picnicking and other wonderful entertainments.
Xili Lake is a peaceful but amazing resort in the bustling city for you to spend pleasant holiday in peace.
