Shennan Avenure
Snaking its way through the Luohu, Futian and Nanshan districts,Shennan Avenue running through the downtown area of Shenzhen City is the busiest traffic road in Shenzhen, starting from Sanjiu Hotel along the Yanhe Crossing on the east to Nantou Inspection Station and it is an 8-lane dual carriageway with green belt sandwiched between the two neighboring lanes with a total length of 17.2 kilometers long.
This multi-lane avenue provides for a leisurely drive that will quickly give visitors a taste of the Shenzhen spirit. It passes through 17.2km of newly built urban landscape, complete with some truly fascinating architecture, provides a peek at the city's renowned theme parks, and ends up in the greenest part of the city. The entire route has been lined with flower beds and lawns. The essence of the buildings in Shenzhen stand brilliantly along both sides of Shennan Avenue with the most important tourism scenic spots and famous enterprises scattered along the avenue as well, so it showcases the street landscape with the high degree of modern features, rarely-seen in Mainland China.
It is one of the busiest streets in Shenzhen. Many landmark buildings are along this street. It is also a representation of Shenzhen's night scenery.
