City Sculpture
City sculptures is a kind of language, as well as a open book from which people can read stories about a city's yesterdays, todays and tomorrows.
The city sculptures in Shenzhen vividly record the history and life of this city, and deeply reflect the spiritual and cultural connotation and vibrant vitality of this young and beautiful city, which is like flowing musical notes and blended into the life melody of Shenzhen.
Over 500 sculptures of all kinds and sizes have been set up in the city since the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in 1980.
Two sculptures, the Pioneering Bull in 1984 and the One Day in Shenzhen that was completed in May 2000, are regarded as the most important artistic milestones in the city's history.
